David Spade Releases Prime Video Special, Preps for Tour with Wild New “Manager”
David Spade just released a brand-new stand-up special on Prime Video and is already gearing up for a world tour—but not alone. In a video posted to promote both the special and the tour, Spade introduces his new "tour manager," a chaotic character named Billy.
“We worked really hard on the special,” Spade says, adding that he’s excited to take the show international. Enter Billy, who immediately declares, “I can’t leave New York, therefore I am the best person ever to lead an international tour.” From there, the chaos only grows.
Billy teases destinations like Mexico—before quickly backtracking with, “Don’t kill me, we can’t go there.” He also throws in random offers like “free cheese sandwiches” and tells viewers to “take good action.”
The promo video blends Spade’s dry humor with absurd energy from his fictional manager, setting the tone for a tour that promises laughs on and off the stage. Tour dates are now live at davidspade.com.
Spade’s special is streaming now on Amazon Prime Video.
