Levity Comedy Club & Lounge is a bar that offers more than just drinks and laughs. Bringing you a complete entertainment experience, Levity Comedy Club offers a variety of live comedy events ranging from headlining comedians to amateur nights showcasing the best in up-and-coming young talent. It's sure to be a hit with friends and fun for the whole group.

Laugh along with the best of today's and tomorrow’s top stand-up comedy acts at one of our many live comedy performances. We feature both well-known comics as well new comedic talent with promising careers that are just taking off. This includes everything from big-name headliners like Frank Spadone and Eric Johnston to upcoming breakthrough comedian Doug Koning. Join us every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday night for hours worth of non-stop laughter. Be sure to check individual showtimes as event nights and times can change.

If top-tier comedy talent wasn't enough, we'll make sure your night out on the town is rounded out by an extensive dinner and drink menu. Consisting of both lighter fare like mozza sticks or mac'n'cheese wedges and larger plates for the seriously hungry such as the chicken parm sandwich or the veggie wrap, you certainly won't be going hungry. 

As the name suggests, we also have a lounge where you can hang out before or after the show. It's no cover, so if you don't have a ticket and still want to be near the action, it's THE place to be if you simply want to make a night of it. With board games available to play, a surprisingly lengthy food and drink menu, there's no shortage of fun to be had. Doors usually open at 7 pm, giving you a prime opportunity to kick off your night of laughs with a cocktail, wine or beer before heading into the show. Be sure to stick around after the show for a nightcap. Oftentimes, the comedian will hang around after the show and meet the audience. 

Levity Comedy Club & Lounge is also known for supporting the local comedy scene. With available workshops open to anyone interested in trying their hand at comedy or taking their comedic talents to the next level, these reasonably priced workshops are taught by seasoned professionals in a supportive, encouraging and inclusive environment. Whether you want to develop a career in comedy or simply want to increase your confidence, public speaking ability or meet new people, it's the perfect opportunity to step out of your comfort zone and learn new skills.

Additionally, the intimate environment, prime location, kitchen and bar, and state-of-the-art sound system make for the perfect venue for corporate events, parties or social events of any kind. Available for rent, the Levity Comedy Club & Lounge will make your event one to remember.

Conveniently located at 120 King Street West, in the heart of downtown Hamilton, it's easy to get to whether driving or taking public transit. There's street parking and lot parking available nearby. Shows mostly run on Wednesday for amateur nights and Fridays and Saturdays for featured headliners. Ticket prices vary depending on the event, however, are often in the $18-$25 range for headlining comedians. Every show is different, but you can expect it to be in the 90-120 minute length.
