Improv Centre

Rooted on beautiful Granville Island near downtown Vancouver, BC, The Improv Centre first opened its doors over 40 years ago, in 1981! Home to a variety of live entertainment focused around making people laugh, some 60,000 people pass through its doors annually ranging from laughter-seeking audience members to touring comedians to improv mainstays and everything in between. It's main focus is the development of improvisational productions, which if you're familiar with the concept, you can be absolutely certain that each show has its own unique flair. 

Featuring one of the best, yet little-known patios in Vancouver overlooking False Creek and the Granville Marina, your night out is sure to be something special. Doors open an hour before showtime, giving your plenty of time to soak up the scenery with your favorite beverage, snacks and conversation.
